The Costilla continues to fish well with flows back up in the 60s. Mayfly dries, terristrials and bead-head nymphs will catch fish if you can set the hook fast enough!

The flows on the Cimarron are up to 42, which will really help the fishing throughout the day. Also, we're due for some cooler weather, so look for more Tricos in the morning in the coming weeks. Fish Tricos behind a slightly larger mayfly for increased visibility.

Flows on the Red River have dropped a little since last week, but fishing the deep pools below the Red River Fish Hatchery could be good with Poundmiesters and red bead-head san Juan worms.

The Rio Pueblo near Sipapu has come down a bit but still has good water with flows in the 30's.A dry/dropper setup will work best with various terrestrial patterns and size 14 and 16 blue and red nymphs. The Montana Prince and Red Rubberleg Tungsten Copper Johns will be perfect.

The Rio Grande has been fishing well. Look for the best fishing both north and south of town to occur from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and again in the evenings. Try Nymphs behind big Dries and Streamer patterns.

Now, go fish and HAVE FUN!
