Our winter hours are from 10 to 5 pm Mon-Sat. Closed Sundays.
The Rio Grande is low, clear and beautifull! It's also COLD, so forget the trout and concentrate on Pike. The Pike have been tricky as a result of fishing pressure. Though numbers of fish caught are low, we have seen several large Pike this month in the 3 foot range-the biggest bieng 17lbs.! Best bet is to use a slow retrieve and to be very stealthy when approaching the banks of the river.
The Red River has been slow close to the hatchery. Further down the canyon, some bifg fish have been seen(and caught).
The Cimmaron has been shut-off for the year.
The Costilla has been shut-off and fishing there will be tough.
We now have exclusive access to fish the famous upper Brazos Meadows. Our trips up there this year have been a huge sucess with many nice fish caught. It's starting to book up for 2010 already!
